Culture Houses

Discover Faroese culture and connect with your community

If you are new to the Faroe Islands, culture houses are welcoming places to explore Faroese culture and connect with your local community. Open to people of all ages and backgrounds, they offer opportunities to meet local people and take part in events, concerts, exhibitions and community activities.

You do not need to speak fluent Faroese to take part. To find an activity that interests you, visit the culture houses’ websites or social media pages for current events and activities. Check with each venue for information about the languages used during activities.

Come along, explore your local culture house and start making new connections!
